Setting Working Hours

Defining Business Hours

Open Settings → Availability to set your standard weekly schedule. Click each day to add open and close times. You can define multiple intervals per day if you break for lunch or close early on certain weekdays.

Buffer Time and Limits

Buffer time prevents back-to-back burnout. Set a default padding interval that automatically applies to all services, or override it per service. You can also set a minimum lead time so clients cannot book moments before an appointment starts.

  • Default buffer: Applies globally to every service.
  • Service override: Customize padding for complex or cleanup-heavy appointments.
  • Lead time: Stop same-day bookings with a cutoff window.

Blocking Dates

Need a vacation or a staff training day? Use the Block Dates tool to mark entire days or date ranges as unavailable. Blocked dates override regular business hours and ensure no appointments slip through while you are away.

Staff-Specific Schedules

If your team works different shifts, assign unique availability profiles to each staff member. EverBooking intersects staff schedules with business hours so clients only see times when both the business and the chosen provider are free.
